A quaint sleepy little fishing town where boaters find safe haven to anchor & find basic supplies

Just as the anchor dropped a little fishing ponga pulls along side with Jesus and Ernesto selling some shell jewelry. They offered to take me to get some lobsters, I wished I had but we wanted to get settled before heading into shore. We inflated our shore dinghy and bolted down our new Epropulsion Spirit Plus motor for its maiden voyage. We were impressed by its speed and quietness as we headed for shore. A nice little swell helped us slide right onto a sandy beach directly in front of the restaurant we chose to dine at. Greeted by the nicest couple, they brought about a round of the most delicious margaritas made with fresh lime juice, quality tequila and a splash of Controy, the Mexican version of Cointreau. It was followed up with a simple but delightful meal. After dinner we rambled through the small village & loaded up on some supplies and junk food for our shipmate Del, who has the most amazing metabolism, considering we aren’t exactly getting the usual dose of exercise.
